Webinar on Parasites and Wildlife Conservation – Indonesia

Parasitology Consultancy Group contributed to an international webinar hosted in Indonesia, focused on emerging infectious diseases in wild and captive exotic animals.

Prof. Andrei Daniel Mihalca presented the lecture "Parasites and Wildlife Conservation", addressing the ways in which parasites influence wildlife populations, conservation strategies, and human–animal interactions. The webinar also featured talks on disease management in exotic animals and parasites of free-ranging reptiles, offering a broad perspective on wildlife health.

This online event provided an opportunity to share expertise with colleagues in Southeast Asia and to highlight the role of parasitology in conservation biology.
