Field Evaluation of Repellent Formulations Against Fleas and Ticks in Naturally Exposed Dogs

During the 2026 ectoparasite season, our team conducted a prospective field study for an international partner from France, evaluating the efficacy and persistence of multiple NATURAL repellent formulations against fleas and ticks in naturally exposed dogs.

The study included several experimental spot-on and collar formulations, together with an appropriate placebo control, and was designed to assess their performance under real-world conditions of natural ectoparasite exposure.

A major strength of the project was its field-based design, integrating natural parasite challenge, real-life environmental exposure and standardized longitudinal monitoring. This approach generated data relevant not only to comparative efficacy assessment, but also to the interpretation of product performance under conditions that more closely reflect routine canine exposure than controlled laboratory infestation models.

The project concluded with structured data analysis and preparation of technical reports suitable for product development and regulatory-support purposes.
