Development of infographics for EU Agencies

We have supported the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) in developing evidence-based information resources on tick-borne diseases. These factsheets and leaflets are designed for different audiences, from healthcare professionals to travelers and the general public.

Examples of our contributions include:

  • Factsheets for healthcare practitioners on Tick-Borne Encephalitis (TBE), providing up-to-date scientific data on transmission, clinical features, diagnosis, and prevention.

  • Public information sheets on TBE and Lyme borreliosis, explaining symptoms, risk areas, and preventive measures in clear, accessible language.

  • Travelers' leaflets, highlighting risks from ticks and diseases such as TBE, Lyme borreliosis, and Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever, with practical advice on prevention.

Our role included:

  • reviewing and updating scientific content

  • drafting concise text tailored to different audiences

  • ensuring accuracy of epidemiological and diagnostic information

  • adapting materials for clarity, readability, and impact

By contributing to these high-visibility materials, we have helped strengthen public awareness and professional capacity to recognize and prevent tick-borne diseases across Europe.
